TONYA ~REIKI TEACHER
~~~ NAMAST'E ~~~ I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, We ae one. ~~~ NAMAST'E ~~~ I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, We ae one.
Upon being introduced to Reiki, I began to educate myself and found there to be many forms of and approaches to the same energy treatment. I also found many teachers to promote their chosen form to be the one and only true way to provide, share, and teach Reiki. I do not agree with this limited form of thinking. I think Reiki practitioners and teachers find their personal path in sharing this energy treatment and this allows for many different approaches and methods to be effectively provided and taught.
It was with this understanding that I discovered my teacher's book "Essential Reiki, A Complete Guide To An Ancient Healing Art", by Diane Stein. I immediately related to her philosophy and understanding that Reiki should be available to as many as possible and the more healers in the world the better. Diane provided classes in a convenient and affordable method during a time when Reiki was limited to one strict and expensive method here in the United States. Diane was dedicated in pursuing her Reiki education and attunements. She was a pioneer in sharing her knowledge in a non-traditional manner that was influential in Reiki being offered today in different forms and perspectives. I respected Diane and wanted to take her workshop.
Unfortunately Diane lives in Florida and I live in Northern California. I could not wait to receive my attunements, so I took my Reiki I attunement from a teacher that lived closer to my area. This teacher was a very traditional Usui practitioner and I accepted the attunement, but could not study with someone who promotes their teaching as the one and only way and also required the traditional $10,000 payment for a Reiki III attunement. This payment does not increase healers into our world, but excludes many gifted healers from sharing with others.
I began to provide myself Reiki treatments and experienced many benefits. I then attended a workshop and received my Reiki II attunement from a teacher that was more open minded than my first teacher, yet she did not offer any further workshops. Upon receiving Reiki II, I knew I must receive Reiki III and it must be with Diane Stein. So as I waited for the opportunity to travel to Florida and take her workshop, I continued to provide Reiki treatments to myself, family, friends, and others evolving into a Reiki Practitioner.
After arranging the funds and the time necessary, I traveled to Florida and received my Reiki I, II, and III attunements from Diane during her weekend workshop.
I am honored to offer Reiki workshops with the same understanding and philosophy as my teacher, in that Reiki should be made available to as many as possible and as affordable and convenient as possible. I invite you to join me in a scheduled Reiki I, II, and III weekend workshop. This workshop is offered in two segments. Segment one is the Reiki I class and Segment two is the Reiki II and III class. Students can participate in one segment or both receiving all three attunements and training on all three levels.
In honor of my teacher, I will provide each student with a copy of Diane Stein's "Essential Reiki, A Complete Guide To An Ancient Healing Art” to provide resourceful information as each student continues to grow in their personal Reiki experience.
